This Privacy Policy explains how ChitraBook AI collects, uses, stores and protects information when photographers, clients and guests use our website, Android app, private galleries, payment flows and AI face scan features.

1. Information we collect

Account information such as name, email, phone number, studio name, city and business details.
Client and event information entered by photographers for quotations, proposals, bookings, invoices and delivery.
Photos, gallery files, thumbnails, previews, event folders and related metadata uploaded by photographers.
Guest information such as name, phone number and gallery access activity when required for event access.
Face scan input and face matching data used to find matched photos in an event gallery.
Payment and transaction references from payment providers for subscriptions, templates, photo purchases and invoices.
Device and app information such as Android app version, push notification token, device details, logs and usage status.

2. How we use information

To provide photographer workflow features including quotations, proposals, bookings, payments and galleries.
To upload, process, organize and deliver event photos.
To enable private gallery access, client tokens, QR links and guest face scan matching.
To process subscriptions, template purchases, photo purchases, invoices and earnings.
To send service notifications such as payment alerts, subscription status, app updates and important account messages.
To improve product reliability, prevent abuse, enforce limits and maintain platform security.

3. Photos and gallery privacy

Photographers control the event galleries they upload and share. Client and guest access is intended to be limited by links, QR codes, tokens, roles and face scan matching. Photographers are responsible for sharing gallery access only with intended users.

4. Face scan and AI matching

Face scan data is used to search for matching photos within an event gallery. AI results may be imperfect. Face scan and matching should be used only where the photographer or event organizer has the required permissions and lawful basis from relevant users.

5. Payments

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. ChitraBook AI may store transaction IDs, order IDs, payment status, plan details, purchase metadata and earnings records. We do not ask users to share card PINs, UPI PINs or sensitive payment authentication credentials with us.

6. Push notifications

The Android app may use push notification tokens to send important service alerts such as payment success, template unlock, photo purchase, app updates and workflow notifications. You can manage notification permissions from Android system settings.

7. Sharing and service providers

We may use service providers for authentication, database, storage, image processing, face recognition, payments, hosting, analytics, email and notifications. These providers process data only as needed to operate ChitraBook AI services.

8. Data retention

We retain account, event, gallery, transaction and usage data as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and maintain business records. Users may request account or data-related assistance through support.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including access controls, private storage, authentication rules and server-side protections. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your choices

You may update account information from the app where available.
You may disable push notifications from Android settings.
Photographers can manage or remove certain galleries and sharing controls from the platform.
You may contact support for privacy or data requests.

11. Children

ChitraBook AI is intended for professional photography workflow use. Photographers must ensure they have appropriate permissions before uploading or sharing photos of children or guests.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when product features, legal requirements or data practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page.
